After a season where it was virtual suicide to not have Mo Salah in your team all season the first thought is how much will he be. The addition of Erland Haarland into the Premier League gives an early selection headache. Although an unknown quantity when it comes to the Premier League if he lives up to his potential he will become an essential pick.
So which one do you choose or do you try and get them both in your team?? Initial thoughts for me were no way you need to choose one but on reflection with enough quality players at lower price levels it is certainly an option.
That is not to say they are the only premium options it would be unwise to count out Kane and Son for Spurs ir KDB for Man City. Drop down a couple of million and you are looking at some great options Sterling at Chelsea, Nunez at Liverpool and if he stays at United Ronaldo is surely an option.
One way you might think of saving money would be to go for cheap(er) defenders but I feel it is almost essential to get one of the 2 Liverpool full backs into your team or maybe Cancello for their attacking returns on top of strong defensive points.
Finally the goalkeeper position I usually plump for a lower to mid table teams keeper and leave them in all season but I have been thinking for a while about going for a top of the price list keeper guaranteed points and can almost forget about it for the whole season
